San Diego Riding

A season of day rides out of San Diego, filed the old way: one folder per date, a note in every filename. Palomar gets climbed and re-climbed, up the front, down the backside, once with the note 'rattly but ok'. Cousser Canyon runs both directions. Mesa Grande, Lilac Road, the 76.

Then there is the day the bees showed up. Eight clips in a row are simply titled 'Bees', the camera aimed at whatever decided to investigate. Nothing else in the archive documents an adversary this thoroughly. The season winds through Ramona, down the Pamo Grade, up Black Mountain, Gilman, Fiesta Island, the long way home on the 67.
